WOW it's been awhile...

I have not wrote much recently.  One reason is that some of the fun conversations are on the website and also I have highlighted most of the topics that have intrigued me over the years.
What got me thinking was my 40th HS reunion and my soon-to-be status as retired (Dec 31st, 2015).
As as is often the case I'm looking ahead as well seeking guidance from behind.
At least for me and a cadre of other, ERN was a special although not perfect community.  The core was Irv and Edna, although by the time I came along the DNA from many others was infused.  And more and more I see this...we had a brief view of Free/Free Choice, which is the reflection of the 60's.  And the role of music at camp, and the systems and background working that made the whole possible. Dymo and magnets...
So as I seek leadership opportunities to help capture and perhaps create something akin to this the fragments of DNA that merged is something that makes me think...how did this happen?  Or maybe as important, why wasn't it stopped? Given Irv's leadership, how was he open to Judy's thoughts and ideas?
